How can I create and replace variables in my proposals?

Proposeful has a very useful variables feature that allows you to quickly insert custom values on a proposal when duplicating it.

To create a variable, scroll to the block where you wish to insert it, click the content and locate the “Insert Variable” button on the editor toolbox.

You’ll see a tag like %!TAG!% appears in the content. You can rename this tag as you want, just make sure to keep it inside the %! signs. For example, you can rename it to %!NAME!% or %!COMPANY!%.

When you’re ready to insert values into these variables, click the  icon on the bottom right corner of the editor. You’ll see a window listing all variables in your proposal. You can type their values on the field next to each variable and click save to replace all of them in an instant.

Currently, you can insert variables in any content block except the cover, pricing and contact blocks.
