How can I create and replace variables in my proposals?
Proposeful has a very useful variables feature that allows you to quickly insert custom values on a proposal when duplicating it.
To create a variable, scroll to the block where you wish to insert it, click the content and locate the “Insert Variable” button on the editor toolbox.
You’ll see a tag like %!TAG!% appears in the content. You can rename this tag as you want, just make sure to keep it inside the %! signs. For example, you can rename it to %!NAME!% or %!COMPANY!%.
Next time you create a proposal, select this proposal as the base template and proceed to the customization tab. You’ll see the variables you inserted in the base proposal are listed and you can quickly assign new values to them.
Currently, you can insert variables in any content block except the cover, pricing and contact blocks.
